Geneva Memorial Day Parade Details
Organized by the Fox River Geneva American Legion Post 75, this year’s parade is a wonderful opportunity for the community to show its support.
Here is everything you need to know to plan your morning:
- Starting Point: Geneva Train Station
- Start Time: 10:00 AM
- The Route: The parade will travel north right along Third Street—bringing the procession right through the heart of downtown Geneva!
- Ending Location: The parade concludes at the World War I Memorial at Wheeler Park, which will be immediately followed by a special Memorial Day ceremony.
Important Travel Tip: Please note that the Geneva Police Department will implement street closures along the parade route throughout the downtown area. We highly recommend planning ahead, arriving early to secure a great viewing spot on Third Street, and utilizing public parking just outside the immediate parade zone.
